Environment, Health and Safety Manager

HEISCO is seeking a full-time, on-site Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for its Kuwait City Metropolitan Area operations. The EHS Manager will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of all EHS programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and global best practices. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, performing workplace inspections, and creating effective safety training programs. The role also requires continuous improvement of EHS processes to promote a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Health, and general Health & Safety standards

  • Proven experience in accident investigation, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions

  • Ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate workplace safety and occupational health training

  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, industry standards, and EHS risk management principles

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities

  • Professional EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are an advantage

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred

  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project needs
