Platform Manager

The Platform Manager supports rig team in delivering a safe operation in compliance with Dolphin Drilling requirement, valid legislation and industry standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
* The Platform Manager is overall responsible for all activities onboard the offshore unit
* Responsible for safety onboard
* Make sure all workers have the skills and training they need.
* Follow up , work with budget and cost control
* Communicate with management onshore
* Communicate with customer
Qualifications:
* Relevant education – Deck Officer class 1/Education as Platform Manager and in compliance with flag state regulations
* Valid basic offshore safety course incl HUET and health certificate
* Minimum 2 years experience as stability section leader. Experience as Security/Safety Officer preferred.
* General good IT knowledge and understanding
* Good English and Norwegian knowledge both written and oral

We offer a role in our technical group based at Forus. The operational buyer supports rig team in delivering a safe operation in compliance with Dolphin Drilling requirement, valid legislations and industry standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
* Be available to the manager in daily operations and projects
* Perform all types of purchases for the rig* Ensure that all routines are followed
* Updating and maintaining systems
* Follow-up of suppliers including expedite orders from suppliers
* Participate in and take responsibility for tender processes
* Be responsible for the procurement process being done in accordance with requirements
* Assist in other projects that are relevant
* Perform updates of reports, non-conformance reporting and provide logistics support.
Qualifications:
* Relevant education – Bachelor / Master
* My 3 years of experience with rigs and purchasing for offshore operations
* Good English and Norwegian knowledge both written and oral
* Refer to the result of from cost efficiency
* General good IT knowledge and understanding
* Good knowledge of IFS
Characteristics:
* Service-minded people must be able to collaborate across disciplines
* Self-propelled and structured
* Participate in providing improvements in the purchasing context
