Senior Tanker Driver
Job Purpose:
To support the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum products by directing tanker drivers, managing delivery documentation, inspecting vehicles, and assisting in operational logistics. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth fleet operations and high safety standards across delivery sites.
Responsibilities:
- Allocate and distribute delivery orders as per shift foreman instructions and ensure proper execution.
- Guide and participate in tanker inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Couple and uncouple tankers to tractor units following safety procedures.
- Check seals, product quantity, and tank contents, reporting discrepancies to the shift foreman.
- Perform loading, delivery, and unloading of petroleum products as required.
- Assist in evaluating new delivery sites, providing input on safety and accessibility.
- Train, test, and assess new drivers and applicants; respond to emergencies and accidents when needed.
- Support the shift foreman in tracking vehicle movements and maintaining operational records using MS Excel.
Experience, Qualification and Skills:
- 5–7 years of experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably articulated tankers.
- Valid Bahraini heavy vehicle driving license.
- Strong understanding of fuel delivery procedures and safety protocols.
- Fair proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken, read, and written).
- Ability to work collaboratively with drivers, foremen, and customer site personnel.
- Secondary school certificate or diploma.
Fleet Supervisor

Supervisor, Fleet Maintenance
Job Purpose:
Supervise and coordinate with outsourced service provider the activities of assigned vehicle maintenance personnel, involve in the maintenance, repair of overhaul of the company’s heavy-duty vehicles such as fuel tankers/trucks and equipment like generators, compressors etc.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the activities related to the vehicle maintenance function, minimize maintenance costs and promote positive and safe work environment.
- Prepare the vehicles maintenance programs including preventive maintenance plans activity schedules for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Receive maintenance work orders for heavy vehicles/fuel tankers and equipment, determine priorities, allocate duties and follow up to ensure work is carried out efficiently.
- Assist in thedevelopment of the annual budget for Vehicle Maintenance Section including outsourced services costs, requirements of spareparts, equipment, etc.
- Coordinate with outsourced service provider and ensure all planned and unplanned maintenance and repair activities are co-ordinated and executed to the required standard.
- Supervise the recording of all servicing and repair work carried out, spare parts used and resource time utilised to ensure availability of reliable historical records.
- Attend the call-out operations in cases of breakdowns, emergency or accidents to ensure that the tasks are carried out promptly and in a safe manner.
- Supervise the daily inspection of fuel tankers at Marketing terminal, monthly servicing for the company vehicles, inspection of BDTL customer tankers.
- Prepare maintenance activity reports, inspection reports and disposal/replacement reports for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Manage the fleet maintenance outsourced and ensure the service provider is complying with all scope of works and responsibilities.
Experience, Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervisory capacity.
- 5 years’ experience in technical capacity associated with the maintenance and operation of heavy-duty vehicles, fuel tankers.
- Good supervisory and managerial skills, ability to lead and motivate team members.
- Highly competent in oral communications in English and Arabic Report writing, presentation etc.
