Welding Engineer
Contract: 12 months / renewable.

Description : A minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas industry is required.
– Candidates should have good technical experience in piping, pressure vessel, pipeline spools welding, fabrication and structural.

Chief Fabricator(O&G Industry)
Job Duties :
The Chief Fabricator shall execute fabrication and necessary repairs activities on various equipment and plant piping, piping support, walkways, and covers at Mubarraz facilities to ensure effective functionality, reliability, and efficiency. Prepare (as instructed by the Foreman) general maintenance and overhauling schedules related to the steel section at different offshore locations according to company-set standards and procedures. Assist in preparing corresponding daily work schedules to maintain systems & equipment according to work requisitions on a priority basis and upon approvals from the supervisor ensure timely implementation of daily work orders. Assist the Foreman in keeping records, monitoring the spares and materials stock in the warehouse, and preparing material requisitions to replenish depleted stock to ensure availability of sufficient material and spares for routine operations in line with maintenance schedules. Arrange for cleaning filter and burner nozzles at the processing plants, amine units, reboilers, gas compressors mains powerhouse radiators, and cooling system. Key decisions having a significant impact on Maintenance operations are referred to the Foreman for approval before implementation. Prepare status updates/ shift reports to keep management informed about the daily maintenance activities and to facilitate decision-making.
Qualifications:
– 10 years of schooling and 2 years of technical diploma.
Experience:
– 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector, in piping fabrication, and of which 2 years in a leading position. Practical experience preferably in Oil and Gas sector
Job Specific Skills
– Knowledge of all relevant plant and equipment.
– Practical knowledge of fabrication and welding principles
– Teamwork & cooperation
– Fair knowledge of written and spoken English
– Computer Literate
